A professional development practice to enhance principals' instructional leadership – enabling and constraining arrangements

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to increase the knowledge principals' professional development (PD) by focusing on arrangements that shape a PD practice initiated enhance instructional leadership. Design/methodology/approach draws findings from three-year initiative in Swedish school district. data consist field notes and semi-structured interviews with principals managers.
